Première signature du label, le duo havrais et parisien Dick
Voodoo (Maxime + Dave), entité singulière au sein de la scène
musicale française, a été créé en 2004.

Le groupe a déjà l’expérience du terrain, avec trois EP (2005, 2006 et 2012) et un album (2012) à son actif. Une production remarquée pour son
univers brutal et sensuel passant au shaker les Cramps, Suicide
et Kas Product pour les servir sous une même pochette.

. Ce nouvel EP 4 titres bénéficie d’une très belle
production de Krikor Kouchian. Une beatbox qui cogne avec le
tranchant de la main. Un son dark wave (Elastic Escape) ou
electro rock (le teigneux et electroTattoed), où les nappes
électroniques tendues rivalisent désormais avec les guitares
(Liar). Et pour finir un étonnant morceau à la rythmique martiale
qui n’est pas sans évoquer le Killing Joke des débuts (SF) : mais
puisqu’il faut résumer, synth garage définit sans doute mieux la
position GPS de Dick Voodoo, ce que semble confirmer ici cette
science du cut ou, pour mieux dire, de l’uppercut.
